Matters of the Heart

Genesis 27:18-29

I have been so captured by this story and what I think are the ramifications for us men today. So much so, we plan to set up camp for a few weeks to explore the landscape. My motive is simply to gain a deeper appreciation of what God has provided to us through Christ. Maybe we will gain insight and possibly even some language to help us on our journey of noble authentic manhood. I’m convinced that God’s purpose for us as men is far greater than the common call we hear to “straighten up and to be good”. God’s call must be a compelling call. It must be a call towards something. This something must be meaningful, universal to all men in all ages and with grand purpose. That is where I want to be and I think you do too.
