Genesis 34:13-29, “A Way To Understand This Story, part 2”
In this session my attempt is to build a framework for understanding this story. My premise is that all parties were acting out from what they thought was the right thing to do at the time. This is in no way excusing their actions. On the contrary, it is one explanation of how well meaning people can derail to such a degree resulting in absolute disaster.
