Genesis 35:16-21 “Touchy, Feely”
We as men naturally shy away from touchy feely kind of things. It is not that we don’t feel because we certainly do. However, we are not as good at expression as our female complement. Further, we are sometimes criticized as one, “who does not feel,” whereas a more accurate truth may be that we do not communicate our feelings as well as or in the same way as those who are female. Let’s not kick ourselves but let’s learn together. In this session we will look more closely at Jacob’s emotional roller coaster ride from Bethel to Ephrath. We will look at the existing natural tension in a man’s life; stopping to feel verses strapping on one’s boots to keep moving. I hope you take a look at this and ask yourself where you fit within this tension. Unfortunately, we captured neither video nor audio for this week, my apologies. However, if you take some time to examine the slides, I think you will get the point. I hope this is helpful.
