Overview
Today we begin a new series entitled, “What Is A Man.” My father’s generation generally understood manhood in terms of being the family provider, the protector, being trust worthy and over all acting responsibly. If we were able to return to that time to solicit the street opinion we we would find close variations to the above description although we would be hard pressed to discover one concise definition. In my life-time, specifically with the emerging of the millennial population there has been a shift in discussion regarding what is a man and what it means to be a man.
In this series, we will condense what we have learned through our prior study providing snapshots from Jacob’s life, placing them into a graphic representation of our common male journey. In so doing we will be able to gain understanding of why I am the way I am and what I have to offer to those I love and who love me.
