Today we continue our look at the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman. Through His initial ask for a simple drink of water, Jesus crossed into a deep long-standing social rift. As the conversation continues we have to assume trust was being built because the woman continues to engage. Jesus describes His offering. The woman responds with interest. It is at this point Jesus calls her to action by asking her to go get her husband. It is here at this juncture we will focus our attention today.
