Genesis 34:13-17, “Making it Right, contd.”

 

We pick up today continuing our discussion of “making it right.” In the story there is an offensive sexual act committed against a young woman. The offender and his father approach the victim’s family with what appears to be an honest attempt to “make it right.” The response by the victim’s family members is one of deceit which will give way to an unbelievably disastrous outcome. We ask, “what is going on in their heads?” Let’s take a look at one possible scenario.
