Verses 32-32 of chapter 13 occur immediately after Judas leaves the twelve. The departure of a known, trusted and valued team member who, in this case, is about to betray the master, who’s intentions are fully known by the master, but yet allowed to continue by the master, is absolutely riveting, demanding the readers full attention. This critical juncture gives way to a short statement by the master. We would do well to pay attention to what the master has to say.
