Recently my daughter sent a video link to me of a series she is watching on NetFlix. It is called “The Crown.” The Crown is a several part series telling the story of the English Monarchy beginning with a young Queen Elizabeth. My daughter explained to me that season 2 Episode 9 would be of interest to me because of the coming of age theme centered on a young Prince Philip. I viewed the segment noticing right away a striking parallel to what we are currently examining through the life of Jacob. This week and next we will be viewing selected segments from this episode and then correlating what we see to Jacob and our own experience.
